Commonwealth Forum on cybersecurity

The Forum is organized by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization (CTO) and aims to “provide security, resilience and confidence in cyberspace.” Topics of discussion include the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime as a multilateral legal framework and opportunities it offers to African countries. Cameroon and other countries have passed laws to this effect, however, a Subsidiary support they would need to strengthen the necessary means to the criminal justice system. The Council of Europe co-sponsoring this event as part of its Global Project on Cybercrime.
